Newly-elected NC office bearers, CWC members distributed certificates (with photos)
KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Newly-elected office bearers and central executive members of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) were distributed certificates of selection amid a program held at the Sanepa-based party head office on Saturday.
Gopal Krishna Ghimire, the coordinator of the party’s central election committee handed over the certificates to newly elected Congress central working committee members.
As many as 134 central committee members including 13 office bearers were elected to lead the party for the next four years through the recently held 14th General Convention.
The convention of the grand old party was held in Kathmandu from December 10 to 12.
Sher Bahadur Deuba was elected the party president for a second consecutive term defeating Dr Shekhar Koirala in the run-off.
