Election for NC's central committee: 2,993 votes counted, Koirala and Saud leading
KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The vote count for the central committee members (open category) of the Nepali Congress (NC) is underway at the Sanepa-based party head office.
As many as 2,993 ballots were tallied as of 3 PM, Sunday.
Dr Shashank Koirala is leading in the vote count with 2,442 votes followed by 1,896 votes secured by NP Saud.
A total of 35 candidates will be elected as the NC’s CC member from this cluster. As many as 99 candidates are in the race.
