Demonstration against MCC;  protestors police clash (with photos)

KATHMANDU: At a time the fresh session of the House of Representatives (HoR) is set to commence from Tuesday, an alliance of six political parties including the Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplab’-led NCP and two alliance organizations have staged a protest demonstration against the Millennium Challenge Compact on the Federal Parliament building in the capital. 

Police took control of several demonstrators during Tuesday’s agitation. 

The alliance has been staging a sit-in against the compact at the Maitighar Mandala, in the capital since Friday, last week.
