SSFN candidate Rai escapes attack unhurt in Jhapa

Damak, Jhapa,  An unidentified group of people on Monday evening launched an attack on a vehicle carrying Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal provincial candidate Sushil Kumar Rai at Krishna Mandir in Damak-5, Jhapa. 
The Bolero jeep (Ba 14 Cha 252) suffered a minor damage in the attack that took place during an election campaign, while the attackers fled the scene shortly, said the vehicle driver Kul Bahadur Tamang. 
Meanwhile, a statement issued by the Forum's election mobilisation committee in Jhapa constituency 5 Prabin Chamling condemned the attack.
