IED deactivated in Kailali

Dhangadhi, Kailali, A bomb disposal team from the Nepal Army neutralised an improvised explosive device found at Dhangadhi Sub Metropolitan City-5 in Kailali district today morning. 
The IED was found during a police search near a bridge, around 400 meters away from Hotel Devoti where Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had stayed last night, said Superintendent of Police Binod Ghimire. 
The police search was conducted as part of the security arrangements for PM Deuba's visit with the help of a sniffer dog. 
PM Deuba, also the Nepali Congress President, had been to the district to address an election campaign.
