Two woman killed in attack by wild elephants

Inaruwa, Two women died and a third was injured in Koshi rural municipality-3 of Sunsari today after coming under the sudden attack by wild elephants. 
The deceased have been identified as Bechanidevi Sardar,50, and Sejiya Devi Sardar,36, of the same locality, according to District Police Office, Sunsari. They were returning home carrying firewood from the Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve when elephants from a nearby sugarcane field attacked them. 
Bindadevi Sardar,50, was seriously injured in the incident. Binadevi, who has suffered injuries to her right leg, chest and face, is undergoing treatment at the Golden hospital in Biratnagar, police said.
