Teacher arrested on suspicion of anti-poll activities
Phalebas, Parbat, The District Police Office Parbat has arrested a teacher on suspicion of his involvement in carrying out anti-election activities.
Dhananjaya Malla who teaches at Janajagriti Primary School Majhphant was arrested from his house at Jaljala rural municipality-3 on Thursday evening.
According to Shankar Jaya Malla, Dhananjaya's younger brother, police reportedly held Dhananjaya suspecting him of his involvement in anti-election activities as he was associated with the teachers union close to the Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav'-led Communist Party of Nepal.
The District Police Office Parbat stated that a case of public offence would be filed against Malla.
The Biplav-led Nepal Communist Party is opposed to the upcoming elections.
