CMMC recommends to seal border points with India

KATHMANDU, May 1: COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has recommended to the government to seal the border points with India in view of growing risk of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). 

A meeting of CCMC held at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM), Singha Durbar on Friday, made the recommendation to the government in order to stem the transmission chain of the second wave of the virus. According to a high-level source, the meeting also made other recommendations amid the massive surge in coronavirus cases. 

A Cabinet meeting will take necessary decisions to this effect.
