Two more schools begin technical education

Kathmandu - Gadhawa Rural Municipality in the district of Dang has accorded emphasis on technical education. Getting an approval from the Rural Municipality, two schools here have received affiliation from the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) to impart technical education from this year, Chairman of the Rural Municipality Sahajram Yadav said.

It is said that Chainpur Secondary School will begin classes on 18-month-long livestock science while Janata Secondary School will conduct classes on pre-diploma civil engineering in this local level. Likewise, Saraswati Secondary School in the same rural municipality is running classes on crop science for seven years on.

Principal of Janata Secondary School Mukti Prasad Sharma said that preparations are on to start the 18-month-long course on pre-diploma civil engineering, considering the need of scientific and practical education. The schools have also announced admission open for the aspirant students.
