Rabi Lamichhane arrives in Rupandehi for court appearance

Rupandehi, January 21 — Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has arrived in Rupandehi to appear in court on Tuesday.

Lamichhane arrived by flight and checked into a hotel near Devkota Chowk in Bhairahawa.

He is scheduled to attend the court on Wednesday, according to RSP's Lumbini Province Vice President, Shalikram Ghimire.

Lamichhane, along with his spousee Nikita and some central leaders, traveled to Rupandehi.

He is in the region to provide testimony in connection with the embezzlement case involving the Supreme Cooperative in Butwal.

Following supplementary investigations and legal advice from the government's attorney office, a case has been registered against Lamichhane at the Rupandehi District Court.
