Action demanded against those misbehaving with health professionals

Kathmandu - Rastriya Janamorcha has demanded that action be taken against those misbehaving with the health professionals mobilized for the treatment of coronavirus infected individuals. In a press statement today, party’s chairman Chitra Bahadur KC has protested the ill-treatment against the doctors adding that support and solidarity of all was needed to back up the government steps for the control and treatment of coronavirus infection.

News reports of misbehaviour in different places with doctors are reported. It is not a good practice that health workers are misbehaved and they are prevented from staying in the rented rooms and hotels, KC said in his statement. “We condemn this. Actions should be taken against those involved in such act,” reads the statement. He has also urged the government to safeguard the health workers from such moves and ensure needed facilities to them by respecting their services during the challenging hours.
