Deuba positive to make Prachanda Prime Minister

Kathmandu - The discussion of the top three leaders of the ruling coalition has ended. Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of the Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, and CPN Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal held a discussion for about one and a half hours at the Prime Minister's official residence Baluwatar on Thursday.

In the discussion between the leaders, there was a general conversation about the formation of a new government. In that order, it is said that the leaders have the same opinion that a new government should be formed within the time limit given by the President by dividing the powers of the Prime Minister, President, Speaker, etc. A member of President Prachanda's secretariat said that today's discussion was over as the general discussion about the formation of the government was held and the leaders will sit again tomorrow. Baluwatar sources say that today's discussion was positive.

According to the sources, Maoist Chairman Prachanda has requested Prime Minister Deuba to help him in the leadership of the new government that will be formed in front of the Chairman of Socialists, Nepal. Although Deuba did not give a concrete answer to Prachanda's proposal, he answered that it could be discussed. In that matter, he put his views in front of the leaders that the president, vice president, prime minister, speaker, deputy speaker, and other positions should agree on the package.

After the election of the leader of the parliamentary party on Thursday, the three leaders joined the discussion. Prachanda has already asked Deuba to support him in the first batch of Prime Ministers according to the agreement to become Prime Minister in turn. On Prachanda's proposal, Deuba told that the parliamentary party leaders of all parties can be chosen and discussed. Before this, President Prachanda gave a briefing to discuss the formation of the government with the leaders at the parliamentary party meeting on the same day.
