CJ Rana summons full court amid intensified judicial deadlock
KATHMANDU, November 18: Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana summoned a full court on Thursday.
According to Tej Bahadur KC, justice at the Supreme Court, the full court meeting has been summoned for 1 PM today.
The meeting is scheduled to introduce a lottery system for scheduling cases for hearing at the apex court.
The meeting is likely to be attended by 18 justices who had earlier boycotted a similar meeting summoned by CJ Rana.
Meanwhile, the Nepal Bar Association has been reluctant for the resignation of CJ Rana and decided to continue to boycott the bench unless CJ Rana steps down.
