People above 18 to be inoculated with J&J vaccine in Kathmandu
KATHMANDU, July 21: People above 18 years of age will also receive Johnson and Johnson vaccine against the coronavirus disease in Kathmandu district from Wednesday.
The Department of Health Services shared that as many 140,000 doses of the single-shot vaccine were handed over to the district.
The vaccine, which is being administered to people between 50 and 54 years of age, people with disabilities, those flying to abroad and refugees, will also be provided to the young people above 18.
The US government donated a total of 1,534,850 doses of the J&J vaccine under the COVAX facility.
