Nepal under pressure to win today's match to remain in T20 International

Kathmandu– Nepal is under pressure to win today's match of the ongoing T20 International Series in United Arab Emirates to continue its stay in the Series.

Having lost in its first match on Thursday to hosts UAE by 21 runs, Nepal must win this match to make it to the third match. The match is set to take place at the ICC Academy Ground at 2:45 pm (Nepali time).

Nepal is in a UAE tour to play One Day International Series and Twenty20 Series. On the other hand, UAE, which lost the ODI series to Nepal, is also in a do-or-die situation.

Nepali team which has already competed in the Twenty20 World Cup has not yet won the Twenty20 series.
If Nepal registers its victory in the series it will create another history in cricket realm.

Nepal, which took part in Twenty20 World Cup held in Bangladesh in 2014, had played first time the five-match series against Hong Kong in Sri Lanka the same year. However, four matches of the series were cancelled owing to rain. Nepal lost to Hong Kong by two wickets.

Likewise, Nepal had taken on the Netherlands in the four-match Twenty20 series in 2015. Nepal had lost the series 3-1.
