Rastriya Swatantra Party Elects 99 Central Members Via 80 Electronic Devices

Chitwan. In the election to be held today as part of the first general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), voting will be done through 80 electronic devices.

According to the chief of the Central Election Commission, Bhuvan KC, after the final list of candidates is published, their names and pictures will be placed on the devices and voting will be conducted.

He informed that they are engaged with the goal of conducting the first phase of voting from noon and said that five devices will be used for sample voting.

More than 400 people have filed nominations for the election. Since candidates have been finalized from various 'clusters' as well, it is expected that voting will take extra time. Chief KC said that the results will be announced within two hours of the completion of voting. Voting is being held for 99 central members in the first phase.
