Aamir Khan Expresses Bewilderment Over Public Interest in His Upcoming Marriage

Mumbai. Bollywood's famous star and Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is going to tie the knot with Gauri Spratt on July 5. Fans are very excited about his marriage news. 

However, Aamir Khan himself is very troubled by this excitement and public interest seen among the general public regarding his marriage. He said that he could not understand why people are so interested in his marriage. In a conversation with 'Variety', Aamir mentioned that he was surprised to see this level of public interest in his personal life.

According to Aamir, people's interest in the lives of celebrities is sometimes more than necessary. While acknowledging that cricketers and artists always attract everyone's attention, he questioned why the personal achievements or moments of any person become a topic of discussion for people. 

Aamir said, 'I don't know why people are so interested in the lives of celebrities, especially the lives of artists and cricketers. People should be interested in our work, not in our personal lives.'

Despite so much discussion about his marriage, Aamir has not planned any big or grand public ceremony. This marriage will be a very simple affair and only family members and close people will participate in it. 

Aamir further said, 'This will be a very private and a simple registered marriage. All the procedures will be completed at home, in which only both families and a few very close individuals will be present.'

Aamir Khan is about to make this new beginning in his life. His first marriage was with Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. After that, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao and they have a son, Azad. 

Despite the divorce, Aamir has maintained a good relationship with both his ex-wives Reena and Kiran. The actor and both his ex-wives have a very good relationship and they have always supported each other as a family.
