GWM Ora 5 EV Launched in Nepali Market

Kathmandu. Great Wall Motor (GWM) under the premium electric SUV Ora 5 EV has been unveiled in the Nepali market. The car was unveiled at a program organized at The Plaza in Kathmandu.

VG Impex Pvt. Ltd., the official importer of GWM for Nepal, stated that Nepal is one of the important markets for the international expansion of Ora 5 EV after China and Thailand. According to the company, this car includes modern technology, attractive design, high safety standards, and premium features.

The company stated that the Ora 5 EV has been unveiled keeping in mind the needs of Nepali customers, road conditions, and modern lifestyles. The company claims that it will provide a safe, smart, and sustainable transportation experience.

The Ora 5 EV is available in two variants. According to the initial price announced by the company, the price of the mid-variant has been fixed at 46 lakh 99 thousand rupees and the price of the top variant at 51 lakh 99 thousand rupees.

According to the company, the car provides a driving range of up to 520 kilometers on a single full charge. Features such as 200 mm ground clearance, panoramic sunroof, premium seats, 360-degree surround view camera, 180-degree chassis view camera, and self-healing paint technology are available.

In terms of safety, the company stated that the Ora 5 EV has received a 5-star ANCAP and 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating. The car includes more than 25 advanced driver assistance system features. Safety technologies such as lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign recognition are also available. The company stated that the car has 33 storage spaces for luggage.

GWM is currently present in more than 170 countries and regions worldwide and has sold more than 10 million vehicles to date, according to the company.
