Nepal sets 190 runs target against Afghanistan

Kathmandu –Nepal posted a target of 190 runs against Afghanistan in the third match of the U19 Quadrangular One Day Series underway in Lucknow in India. 


Put into bat first after losing the toss, Nepal made 189 runs in 49.3 overs losing all wickets. 
Paban Sarraf's highest scores of over half a century (78 runs off 96 balls) contributed a lot for Nepal. Sarraf's hits include one six and 10 boundaries. 


Likewise, Sandip Jora hit 28 runs, while Rasid Khan 24, Lokesh Bam 16 and Bhim Sarki 13. For Afghanistan, Mohammad Kabir took three wickets. Likewise Abid Mohammadi claimed two wickets. Now Afghanistan is batting. It made 40 runs in nine overs at the loss of one wicket until the time of filing of this report.
