Defending champions Germany arrive in Russia for World Cup

MOSCOW – Defending World Cup champions Germany arrived in Russia on Tuesday to attempt to win their fifth global title. 


The team landed at Vnukovo airport in southern Moscow, an AFP correspondent said. The Germans kicks off their campaign against Mexico on Friday and will also face Sweden and South Korea in the group stage.
