Prem Suwal's question to Prachanda: When MCC was signed, it was said that American army wouldn't come. So how did they come?

KATHMANDU, Sep 10: Prem Suwal, MP of Nepal Workers Peasants Party, has asked the Prime Minister about the presence of the American army in Nepal.

In the all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Prachanda before his China visit, MP Suwal brought up the issue of how the American army came when the Prime Minister had promised that the American army would not come to Nepal.

Suwal also suggested him to be careful with America when taking part in the United Nations General Assembly, as it might trap Nepal into war like in Ukraine. He said that this matter should be brought up to America in a diplomatic manner.

"I have told the Prime Minister that the country is coming to an end due to these uncoordinated foreign policies, so he should keep it in mind", he said, "He said that the American army would not come when the MCC was signed, so I raised the issue on how the American army came."
