UML Central Committee passes 14 proposals
Kathmandu, January 7 — The central committee meeting of CPN (UML) has passed 14 contemporary proposals.
The three-day meeting concluded with the passage of these proposals, as informed by the party's publicity department head, Rajendra Gautam.
The meeting concluded with the recognition that the formation of a joint government between UML and Congress, with the participation of seven political parties, has sparked hope for political stability.
The meeting emphasized the importance of national interest, political stability, economic dynamism, good governance, development, and prosperity as the primary objectives.
After the meeting, Gautam stated, "This government, formed by the leadership of the major political parties with the participation of seven parties, carries the hopes of the people. It has a historic responsibility to establish a strong foundation to fulfill the aspirations for lasting peace, good governance, development, and prosperity as envisioned by Nepal's constitution."
The meeting also urged the government to strengthen mutual trust and understanding among the ruling parties, make the most of this historic opportunity, and ensure political stability while working towards economic dynamism, good governance, development, and prosperity.
