NA meeting being held today

KATHMANDU, July 10: The National Assembly meeting will be sitting today at 11:01 am. Due to the obstruction by CPN-UML, the main opposition party, the meeting had been adjourned for today. UML had been obstructing the parliament after the controversial expression given by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ during a book release program on July 3.

According to the agenda published by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the Appropriation Bill 2080 will be discussed. According to this, the budget of the Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, Ministry of Drinking Water, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor Employment and Social Security, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development will be discussed.

The budget allotted to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Office of the President, Office of the Vice President, Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers and the Secretariat of the National Planning Commission will also be discussed.
