Dharan Mayor Harka Sampang awarded

DHARAN, July 2: Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City's Mayor Harka Sampang has been awarded by the World Book of Records-London. Mayor Sampang was awarded after he successfully laid 42 kilometres of water pipes and brought water from the Kokaha River to Dharan.

Mayor Harka Sampang received the letter of appreciation in a ceremony on Friday. Sampang expressed joy after receiving the honour and promised to work even harder to fix the water problem in Dharan. He also announced to plant 10 million trees to celebrate the honour.
