Jalahari of Pashupatinath Temple to be reinstalled today

Visitors will not be stopped

KATHMANDU, June 28: The Jalahari of the Pashupatinath Temple that was removed for investigation on Sunday will be reinstalled today.

Pashupati Area Development Fund has informed that preparations have been made for devotees to visit the Temple even during the reinstallation. However, the security personnel have not allowed the devotees to enter the northern Rudra Gadeshwar within the temple complex.

Earlier on Sunday, devotees were not allowed to enter the Temple Area during the removal of the Jalahari. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has not yet made public the result of the measurement of the gold in the Jalahari.
