Kathmandu Metropolitan breaks locks in 2 schools

KATHMANDU, June 13: Kathmandu Metropolitan broke the locks and resumed the study in two schools on Tuesday. Under the directions of Metropolitan's Mayor Balendra Shah, the Education Department broke the locks and resumed the study in the schools.

The Metropolitan took immediate action after ANNFSU Revolutionaries locked the Sanskrit School at Sano Bharyang and ULLENS School at Bansbari and resumed their studies.

"We took immediate action as soon as we received the news that ANNFSU revolutionaries locked two schools," Education Department Head Sitaram Koirala said.

Mayor Balen stated that education was the top priority of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. "Whether the school is government or private, we won't involve politics in schools", said Mayor Balen.
