Ramchandra Paudel registers for candidature for President

KATHMANDU, Feb. 25: Senior leader of Congress Ramchandra Paudel has registered for candidature for the position of President.
Paudel reached the Election Officer's office at New Baneshwor on Saturday to register for candidature along with the Top leaders of the 8-party alliance.
Paudel's proposers for the post of President are Sher Bahadur Deuba, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Narayankaji Shrestha, Ashok Kumar Rai and Abdul Khan. Among the supporters are Mahant Thakur, Purna Bahadur Khadka, Ranjita Shrestha, Chitra Bahadur KC and Hitraj Pandey.
The parties supporting Paudel are CPN-Maoist Center, JSP, CPN (US), Nagarik Unmukti Party, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, Janamat Party and Rashtriya Janamorcha.
