Nepal and Singapore share points after game cancelled due to rain

Kathmandu–The match between Nepal and Singapore under the ACC Eastern Regional T-20 Cricket Championship had to be cancelled without even going for the toss. The game to take place in Bnagkok, Thailand was called off after the pitch became unfit for play due to rain.

Both teams have shared a point each with the cancellation of the match. With this, Singapore with seven points tops the points chart and it has booked a berth for the Asia Cup Qualifier.

The top two teams of this Championship can play in the Asia Cup Qualifier. The winner of the next match between Hong Kong and Malaysia will book a place for the Asia Cup Qualification. Nepal have already exited from this championship before this.
