School provided computers

Galkot– A basic school at Jaimini municipality-7 of Baglung district has been provided six computers as assistance.
An institute named Sagarmatha Ink House at the district headquarters provided five computers and former student of the school Tirtharaj Wagle provided one computer to the school so that the school would be able to cater computer education to its students. They said the computers were provided as assistance because the school did not have any computer before.

"We were not able to buy computers. But with the generous assistance, the school will now provide education and skills to its students," said school principal, Arun Poudel, expressing happiness.

Proprietor at Sagarmatha Ink House, Naibedya Sigdel, shared that he was ready to repair the computer free of cost. Various other schools in the district will also be provided the computers in the days to come, he added.

There are 52 students in the school running classes up to Grade 5. There are only three teachers in the government quota, while three others are appointed with self management of the school.

School management committee chairman Dil Bahadur Darjee also informed that the school was in need of toilet and extra classrooms.
