Scholarship to 24 students

Bhadrapur– Scholarship has been provided to 24 students of Janata Secondary School based in Jhapa rural municipality-6, Sharanmati. 

Each scholarship package is worth amounting to Rs 3000. 
Some 24 students, including 20 from the 'Rama-Padam Memorial Revolving Fund' set up at the school and four from overseas employment scholarship received the incentive package amidst a programme today. 
Pratiman Uprety and Ganga Devi Uprety of Kankai municipality-3 had instituted the 'Rama-Padam Memorial Fund' at the school in memory of their parents. 

Likewise, youths from Sharanmati, who reached Qatar in course of foreign employment, had established the 'Overseas Employment Scholarship Fund' in 2065 BS. 

School management committee chair Him Karki informed that the scholarship has been provided to the disadvantaged and outstanding students every year from both the revolving funds. ---
