Maoist Centre directs leaders, cadres to engage in rescue operation
Kathmandu - The CPN (Maoist Centre) has directed its leaders and cadres to involve themselves in rescue operation and relief distribution, in the wake of flooding and landslides that have wrecked havoc across the country killing many people and displacing hundreds other.
"All party leaders and cadres should come together and help in rescue and relief operation at this time of sorrow and grief caused by the natural disaster," said Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in a statement today.
The statement also demanded that the government launch a rescue operation and relief distribution at the earliest for those affected by landslides and flooding across the country.
Likewise, Young Communist League, sister organisation of the Maoist Centre also urged the YCL members to lend their hand in the rescue operation.
