Nepal Gemstone and Jewelry Federation Launches Official Website and Mobile App

Kathmandu. The Nepal Gemstone and Jewelry Federation has launched its official website and mobile app with the objective of making the business needs, daily transaction management, and information flow of gold and silver traders easy, secure, and technology-friendly. The website and mobile app were formally inaugurated by the President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Kamlesh Kumar Agarwal, at a program organized at the Federation's secretariat office located in Bogenvill, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chief Guest Agarwal stated that the Federation's effort to modernize, systematize, and make business transparent through the use of information technology is timely, visionary, and exemplary. He expressed confidence that the effective use of technology will significantly contribute to making business operations, service delivery, and information exchange easier, faster, and more reliable.

At the program, Federation President Kisan Sunar provided detailed information about the objectives, necessity, features of the website and mobile app, and the services and facilities that traders will receive from it. 'The goal is to develop the Federation as a technology-friendly organization and provide necessary information, services, and business management-related facilities to member traders through a single digital platform,' said President Sunar.

Through the launched website and mobile app, member traders will be able to easily obtain daily market prices of gold and silver, Federation information and circulars, laws, rules, and directives, program-related information, institutional and business management-related services, and other necessary information. The Federation believes that this digital system will significantly contribute to making business operations more systematic, secure, transparent, and effective.

In the program, which was attended by the presidents, officials, and representatives of the member associations affiliated with the Federation through physical and online mediums, the participants provided constructive suggestions on the utility of the website and app and the inclusion of more services and facilities in the future.

At the conclusion of the program, the Federation's First Vice President Dwarika Bishwakarma, while giving a vote of thanks, urged all traders to make maximum use of the website and mobile app launched by the Federation to make the gold, silver, and jewelry business more systematic, secure, transparent, and technology-friendly. According to the Federation's General Secretary Nir Bahadur Bishwakarma, the campaign to make the gold, silver, and jewelry business modern, competitive, and technology-friendly through the maximum use of information technology will be continued in the coming days.
