NC Establishment-Opposed Faction Begins BP Smriti Diwas Program

Kathmandu. The BP Smriti Diwas program of the Nepali Congress's establishment-opposed (former President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Dr. Shekhar Koirala) faction has started with three leaders jointly lighting the panas. A committee was formed under the convenership of former General Secretary Prakashman Singh for the program to be held at Pragya Pratishthan on Wednesday. The program was inaugurated by convenor Singh, former acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka, and leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala by jointly lighting the panas. After inaugurating the program, they also watered the plants. The faction is holding a memorial assembly program on the topic 'Dialogue, Consensus, and Unity – The Need of Today'.
