Nepali Congress to Organize 5km 'Green Run' on BP Smriti Diwas

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress is organizing a 5km 'Green Run' on July 21, the day of BP Smriti Diwas.

Congress President Gagan Thapa has invited the general public to participate in the 'Green Run' competition on social media Facebook. He informed that this program is being organized with the objective of raising public awareness about climate change. 

In a public message, President Thapa wrote, 'On the occasion of BP Smriti Diwas on July 21, a 5km Green Run is being organized by the Nepali Congress. I am also running, and I invite you to run too. Let's run together and participate in the campaign to raise climate awareness,' Thapa said in a video message. Thapa mentioned that the program will be organized with the slogan 'Let's unite to raise climate awareness'.
