Spain and Argentina Face Off in FIFA World Cup 2026 Final

Kathmandu. The much-awaited title clash of the FIFA World Cup 2026 has begun. European champions Spain and defending champions Argentina have taken to the field with the goal of becoming world champions.

Before the game started, the World Cup trophy was unveiled in a grand ceremony at the stadium. A famous Spanish tennis superstar helped unbox the trophy, while former Spanish international star Andres Iniesta and former Argentine international star Mario Kempes displayed the trophy among the supporters. US President Donald Trump has also arrived at the stadium with his wife to watch the final. 

This is only the second time in the history of the World Cup that Spain and Argentina are facing each other. Previously, these two teams met only in the group stage of the 1966 World Cup, where Argentina defeated Spain 2-1. After 60 years, these two teams are meeting on the World Cup stage for the first time, making this historic final even more exciting.
