Government Budget of 21 Kh 24 Arb 34 Crore Rupees for FY 2083/84 Implemented

Kathmandu. The budget of 21 kharba 24 arba 34 crore rupees brought by the government for the financial year 2083/84 has been implemented from today. The budget has come into implementation as the new financial year 2083/84 started from Friday.

The government has presented a budget of a total of 21 kharba 24 arba 34 crore rupees for the current financial year. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle had announced the size of the budget while presenting the budget in a joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Jestha 15.

Out of the total budget, 12 kharba 70 arba 58 crore rupees, or 59.8 percent, has been allocated for current expenditure. Similarly, 4 kharba 31 arba 10 crore rupees (20.3 percent) has been set aside for capital expenditure and 4 kharba 22 arba 24 crore rupees (19.9 percent) for financial management.

The government has set a target of raising 14 kharba 5 arba 31 crore rupees from revenue for the budget. It is estimated that 61 arba 74 crore rupees will be received from foreign grants, while 2 kharba 47 arba rupees will be raised from foreign loans. The government plans to manage the remaining 4 kharba 19 crore rupees from internal loans.

In the last financial year 2082/83, the government had presented a budget of 19 kharba 64 arba 11 crore rupees.
