Kuwait and Bahrain Intercept Iranian Air Attacks Amidst Tensions

Kathmandu. Kuwait and Bahrain said on Wednesday that their air defense systems had foiled air attacks carried out from Iran. These incidents occurred while military tensions were escalating between Iran and the United States, centering on the Strait of Hormuz.

The Kuwaiti army stated that the attacking drones were intercepted and neutralized. The army condemned the incident as a result of 'Iran's aggressive activities'.

The Bahraini army also stated that many air attacks carried out from Iran were successfully intercepted and destroyed.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, Bahrain's Interior Ministry had urged citizens and residents to remain calm and go to the nearest safe place, sounding missile and air attack warning sirens.

Meanwhile, Iran's state media claimed that after the US military attacked Iran, Iran separately attacked US military targets in Kuwait and the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain in response.
