Fifth Volume of 'Xi Jinping: The Governance of China' Promoted in Astana

Kathmandu. A promotion event for the fifth volume of 'Xi Jinping: The Governance of China' was organized in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on Wednesday. 

Participants in the program described this fifth volume as an authoritative work that comprehensively and systematically reflects Xi Jinping's latest achievements in his thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era. 

Participants stated that this book will help deepen the international community's understanding of China's development philosophy, experience, and future prospects.

Currently, China has embarked on a new journey under its 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030), while Kazakhstan is also continuously moving towards its vision of building a 'Just Kazakhstan'. In the context of China and Kazakhstan advancing together on the path of modernization, participants agreed that both countries will provide tangible benefits to their people in the spirit of eternal friendship, deep mutual trust, solidarity, development, and prosperity, and give new and strong impetus to the pursuit of a shared future.

During the program, Chinese representatives presented Russian and Kazakh versions of the fifth and fourth volumes of 'Xi Jinping: The Governance of China' respectively as gifts to Kazakh guests.

Similarly, experts and scholars participating in the program exchanged views on topics such as development opportunities under the 15th Five-Year Plan, high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and the building of a China-Central Asia community with a shared future. Focusing on the main theme of the program, representatives from think tanks, enterprises, and universities in China and Kazakhstan shared their understanding of President Xi Jinping's governance philosophy, people-centered spirit, and global vision. 

They clarified how bilateral cooperation has benefited the people of Kazakhstan by presenting their personal experiences and proven examples.
