Rastriya Swatantra Party General Secretary Vipin Kumar Acharya Calls for Parliamentary Review

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) General Secretary and Member of Parliament Vipin Kumar Acharya has stated that although there is a tradition of reviewing the government after 100 days, there is no such tradition in Parliament, and therefore, Parliament should also be reviewed. 

Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, MP Acharya said, 'Generally, after the government completes 100 days, the honeymoon period ends and there is a practice of reviewing it,' he said, 'I don't think there is a honeymoon period for Parliament. But it seems like it's time for Parliament to review itself.' 

He urged the Speaker to review all aspects, including how much the MPs have attended since the beginning of the Parliament, how many bills have been enriched, how much work the committees have done, how many rules have been violated, and whether the dignity of Parliament is increasing or decreasing.
