Traffic Halted on Nagdhunga Route Due to Heavy Rainfall and Landslides

Kathmandu. Due to continuous rain, the risk of floods, landslides, falling stones, and other natural disasters on the road has increased, so the operation of vehicles leaving Nagdhunga has been stopped.

According to the central spokesperson of the police, Deputy Inspector General of Police Avinaryan Kafle, vehicle movement has been stopped on the road section leaving the valley via Nagdhunga until further notice.

In view of the safety of the general public, vehicle movement has also been stopped on the Pharping–Dakshinkali–Makwanpur road. It has been requested to inform the police if there is any problem.

Just a short while ago, stones started falling at Tuin Khola on the Narayangadh Mugling road section and mud started falling at Seti Dobhan, due to which the two-way road traffic has been closed. It is still raining in many places in the country. Due to this, the lives of the people have been affected.
