Nepal Volleyball League Prepares for Inaugural Season with Coach Appointments

Dhangadhi. Preparations for the first edition of the Nepal Volleyball League (NVL) have intensified.

With the aim of making the competition more competitive and professional, the organizers have appointed head coaches for all six participating franchise teams.

In this sequence, experienced coach Nripa Bahadur BK from Achham in Sudurpaschim Province has been appointed as the head coach of Kathmandu Reds. Active as a player and coach in Nepali volleyball for a long time, BK has made a distinct identity at the national level due to his playing experience and coaching ability.

All six franchise teams participating in the first edition of the NVL have finalized their head coaches. Sagarmatha Shamsher has given the responsibility of head coach to Utsav Khadka, while Madhesh Warriors will be led by Bharat Yadav.

Similarly, Ramesh K.C. has been appointed as the head coach of Annapurna Spiker Kings, Chandra Bahadur Kunwar as the head coach of Karnali Shivaraj, and Rupesh Kumar Bisht as the head coach of Khaptad Falcons. With the appointment of head coaches, all teams have intensified preparations for the first edition.

Now, the player selection process will be carried out through a player draft before the competition, after which the teams will start formal training, the organizers have stated. Preparations are underway to organize the men's volleyball competition under the first edition of the NVL within the next few days.
