Gayatri Katuwal Bhandari Elected President of Itahari Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Sunsari. Gayatri Katuwal Bhandari has been elected as the president of the Industry Commerce Association Itahari. According to the counting of votes completed on Sunday night, Bhandari defeated her closest competitor Navraj Kafle by 15 votes.

According to Election Committee Coordinator Tank Dulal, Bhandari received 758 votes in the final vote count. Her competitor Kafle received 743 votes, Dulal informed. According to the information provided by the Election Committee, out of a total of 2,369 voters, 1,543 votes were cast in the election.

Jeevan Kumar Neupane, Sanjeev Khadka, Balaram Basnet, Sinet Rizal, Sanjay Saha, Bal Bahadur Neupane, Sunny Chaudhary, Dinesh Prasad Dhamala, and Mahesh Thapa have been elected as Commerce members. Similarly, Meena Acharya Dhakal and Sumitra Ghimire Bhattarai have been victorious as women members. Abhishek Basnet, Shivaprasad Bhattarai 'Bhupal', Hariprasad Timsina, and Kishan Kumar Khediya have been elected as Industry members, the Election Committee stated.
