'Kamala Miss' Film Releases Official Poster, Promotion Begins

Kathmandu. The film 'Kamala Miss' is set to be released nationwide from Saun 22 (August 7). The film has announced the start of promotion by releasing its official poster. The released poster features a scene of a woman holding a small child affectionately in her arms, reflecting the relationship, love, sacrifice, and emotional struggle between a mother and child.

The film, inspired by the famous play 'Kohī Kina Barbād Hos' by litterateur and playwright Vijay Malla, features performances by Nir Shah, Ramesh Budhathoki, Basana Timilsina, Shivam Saraf Chhetri, Aarav Dahal, Bhavana Magar, Krishna Murari Dhungel, Sushant Kumar Shrestha, Jayanta Regmi, Suresh Thapa, Rajan KC, and Sanjay Khaditala, among other artists.

Senior artist and director Nir Shah, returning to direction after about a decade, has attempted to present a story with a different flavor in 'Kamala Miss', focusing on social reality and family emotions. He has previously directed famous films such as 'Basudev', 'Pachis Basanta', 'Rajmati', 'Vasanti', 'Masan', and 'Setobagh'.

The film, produced by the Vijay Malla family for the Vijay Malla Smriti Pratishthan, has Chaitanya Prakash Pradhan, Umesh Malla, Ramesh Babu Shrestha, and Ram Bhattarai as executive producers. Pushkar Lama (Prem Bhomjan) is the line producer.

The story of the film is by Vijay Malla, while the screenplay and dialogues were jointly prepared by Nir Shah, Prajal Dulal, and Sugam Dulal.

The film features cinematography by Shivaram Shrestha, editing by Milan Bikram Shah, music by Yug Bhusal, and choreography by Ramji Lamichhane. 'Kamala Miss' will be distributed nationwide by Apple Entertainment, Reach Entertainment, and FD Company.
