Film 'Gauthali' to be Screened in America

Kathmandu. The film 'Gauthali', which is preparing for its release on July 1, will also be screened in America. Seven Sis International Films has bought the America rights of 'Gauthali'.

A written agreement was signed between director Kapil Rizal, actor Arun Kshetri, producer Suman Giri from 'Gauthali' and Roshan Subedi from Seven Sis International Films. Seven Sis has stated that the film will be screened in America at a suitable time.

Director Rizal said that as the film gained popularity, the demand for its international rights from overseas markets increased.

Two decades ago, Dr. Bhola Rizal had produced a film named 'Gauthali'. That film was successful in completing 51 days. It is considered the first musical film made in Nepal.

The film, produced by Bhola Rizal Production and Suman Giri Production, features the acting of Arun Kshetri, Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, Luniva Tuladhar, Rabindra Jha, Ishwori Baral, Sanjog Rasaili, Sita Devi Timilsina, Lakshminath Timilsina, and Rajendra Nepali. Anshu Oli and Prince Nepali are the child artists in the film.

Executive producer Sarala Rizal, producers Suman Giri and Dr. Kapil Rizal, and co-producers Indu Giri, Manish Rizal, Pralay Rizal, and Jeevan Oli. The film features cinematography by Hari Humagain and editing by Milan Shrestha.
