Bharatpur Hospital Appeals for Health Equipment Donations

Narayangarh. Bharatpur Hospital has called for the handover of health equipment that is not in use in various government and private institutions but can be operated after repair and technical management.

The hospital has requested the handover of such equipment with the aim of making specialized and super-specialized health services more effective, quality, and patient-friendly. Hospital spokesperson co-professor Dr. Ramprasad Sapkota said that as the hospital is advancing its capacity building and digital transformation work, the handover of such equipment will help to further streamline service delivery.

The hospital has requested government and private institutions and individuals interested in handing over equipment such as dialysis machines, ventilators, patient monitors, ultrasonography (USG) machines, X-ray machines, and EEG machines to contact them. He said, "The daily patient load in the hospital is increasing. If there are health equipment that are not in use in other government or private institutions but are operational, Bharatpur Hospital will utilize them."

Bharatpur Hospital, where more than three thousand patients receive OPD services daily, currently has 300 beds from the Government of Nepal and 300 beds from the Hospital Development Committee for admitted patients.

The hospital has stated that the cooperation of all sectors is necessary for the management of necessary health equipment with the expansion of specialized services.
