Man Arrested for Embezzling Funds by Promising US Employment

Kathmandu. A person has been arrested on charges of embezzling funds by luring with attractive salaries for foreign employment and promising to send them to America.

According to the police, the arrested person is 35-year-old Madhav Aryal, a resident of Waanaganga Municipality-8, Kapilvastu, originally from Rainaadevi Rural Municipality-1, Palpa. Based on the complaints of victims stating that Madhav took Rs 3 lakh from one person promising to send them to America and then became out of contact, the police dispatched from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku, arrested him from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13.

He has been sent to the District Police Office, Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
