Cabinet Reshuffles 15 First Class Gazetted Officers

Kathmandu. A cabinet meeting held on Thursday transferred 15 first class gazetted (joint secretary) or equivalent level employees. At the proposal of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, the cabinet reshuffled the responsibilities of joint secretaries working in various ministries, constitutional bodies, and provinces.

According to the transfer list, some joint secretaries working in the Ministry of Finance have been sent out, while some new faces have come in. Shyamprasad Bhandari, a joint secretary from the Ministry of Finance, has been transferred to the Office of the President, and Gajendra Kumar Thakur has been transferred to the Office of the Vice President.

Bheeshma Kumar Bhusal and Yamlal Bhusal, working in the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, have been sent to the Ministry of Finance. Premprasad Acharya, a joint secretary from the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, has also been transferred to the Ministry of Finance. Ramdutta Bhatta, a joint secretary from the Ministry of Information and Communications, has been transferred to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. 

The government has also reshuffled the secretaries of Madhesh, Koshi, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces. Bindeshwar Prasad Lekhak from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been transferred to Madhesh Province, Ramesh Aryal from Finance to Gandaki Province, and Bharatmani Pandey to Lumbini Province as provincial secretaries.
