Lions Club International Conducts Sanitation Program in Raniban, Kathmandu

Kathmandu. As per the annual schedule of Lions Club International, a week-long service program will be conducted from July 1 to 7, and on the first day, a sanitation program was completed in the Raniban area of Kathmandu.

This campaign was initiated under the leadership of District Executive Chief Lion Ramhari Devkota of District 325K, with six clubs participating jointly.

On the first day of the service week today, a large-scale sanitation program was conducted in the roads and public places around Radhakrishna Temple in Raniban, Nagarjun Municipality. Office bearers, members of six Lions Clubs including Lions Club of Kathmandu Manaslu Nagajun, Ichangu Nagajun, and local residents participated enthusiastically in this joint campaign.

This program has been organized keeping in mind environmental protection and community cleanliness, and other various social and service-oriented activities will be continuously conducted as part of this week-long campaign which will run until July 7, the organizers informed.
