Xi Jinping Calls for Unity and Effort to Achieve Party Goals

Beijing. Chinese Communist Party (CPC) Central Committee General Secretary Xi Jinping has called on all party members to remain firm in their beliefs and move forward with continuous efforts to achieve the party's goals in the new era and on the new journey. 

Xi, who is also the Chinese President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, said this while addressing a ceremony organized in Beijing on Wednesday to mark the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Xi emphasized that the entire party must firmly adhere to the party's basic principles, basic policies, and guidelines. He particularly stressed that the party must always rely on the people to achieve great historical successes. Furthermore, he directed the entire party ranks to actively face any risks and challenges that may arise on the upcoming journey.

Xi stated that the party must continuously advance the work of building a community with a shared future for mankind. He also prioritized the need to make continuous efforts to maintain complete and strict self-discipline and good governance within the party.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday morning, at a special ceremony held at the Great Hall of the People in central Beijing, General Secretary Xi presented the CPC's highest honor, the 'July 1st Medal', to party members.
