Nepal Oil Corporation Reduces LPG Gas Price by Rs 100 Per Cylinder

Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of cooking LPG gas. The corporation's board of directors meeting on Tuesday decided to reduce the price of gas by Rs 100 per cylinder, citing a decrease in petroleum product prices in the international market.

According to the new price, consumers will now have to pay only Rs 2,060 for a 14.2 kg gas cylinder. Earlier, its retail selling price was Rs 2,160. Similarly, the price of a 7.1 kg small cylinder has also been reduced from Rs 1,080 to Rs 1,030.

The corporation has stated that the price has been adjusted to provide relief to consumers as the cost of gas has decreased with the new purchase price received from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). This new price will be effective from Wednesday morning.
